Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Meets US Official in Washington

(MENAFN) Turkey’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Levent Gumrukcu, met Wednesday in Washington with US Under Secretary of State Thomas G. DiNanno to discuss matters related to defense and international security, according to reports from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The ministry noted that the meeting focused on “international security and defense cooperation matters.”

Gumrukcu also participated in a roundtable organized by the Atlantic Council, where he addressed questions from attendees on Turkish-American relations, NATO, and regional developments.
